August 20, 2016 - Popped and poured. transparent ruby with mild bricking on the edges. Right off the bat, cassis, dark berry and cherry, macerated fruit notes, wet stones. On the palate, remarkably elegant, smooth and complex. Definitely not a blockbuster style, deft balance. Very impressive and an anomaly for most wines of this region and bottle age, as it had NONE of the pruney, alcoholic, or rugged tannin characteristics I have come to expect from so many North Coast Cabernets. Wish I had more.

November 30, 2011 - Great still! Terrific rich flavor, tasted wonderful with a hearty beef stew on a cold night! Dinner for Mike and Duff followed by the best apple pie ever!

November 7, 2011 - Still excellent - had at Noah's with short ribs (Rusty) and chicken (Jeff) for Restaurant Week. Lovely flavor and aroma. Mellow - not a lot of fruit but a deep, rich, woody flavor...excellent.
