December 19, 2021 - Ripe brambles, blackberry, alcohol induced spice, a little meaty note on the nose. In the mouth it's juicy, tannins are bold and grippy, fruit a little baked, again a little meaty note here. Hmm.

November 21, 2021 - Cotes du Rhone (Frank's place in Matraville): From Coravin.
Savoury, gamey, meaty over dark hued fruits, peppery spice, baked earth, leather, slightly oxidised...Hmm. Juicy, savoury, liquroice, slightly sour wild blackberry, meaty. Positively austere. alcohol warmth lends peppery spice, tannins are slightly chalky though integrated tannins.

April 5, 2008 - Tannins are a little harsh and unripe. Still decent to drink with food and a decent value. Though it is definitely past the drinking window. 85

Day 2: Surprisingly it is better the second day. Some of the harshness went away, though it thinned out a little. Overall a few points better.
