April 14, 2024 - This bottle was different to my previous, may be because I left it for 2hrs in decanter, but was very clean and no ripeness whatsoever. True to its origins, it was mouthwatering, medium bodied with dried red berries and herbs. Not a buy again, but enjoyed it, nonetheless. A purchase from Italy on release €26. 14% alc.

April 14, 2023 - Stewed fruits on decanting but dissipated after an hour. Cork in perfect condition.
Poised, with clear focus. Friendly tannins, mouth-watering freshness, nicely drinking now. The fruit sweetness is just on the verge of becoming an ordinary-boring wine, but it hasn't in the end. Very sensitive to the food I've noticed.
I was hoping to find the inspirational Langhe Nebbiolo, but I still haven't...
A particularly good TN from Nanda below that captures the essence.

January 26, 2022 - This beams with red cherry, plum, fresh cut flowers, toasted herbs, new leather and spice nose. Palate has ripeness and roundness with still gritty tannins. Excellent tension and balance. Steel fermented and far more classic then you might expect. Still young with upside as it settles in post 10 years of age.

September 23, 2020 - It has been around four years since my previous bottle, it was a bit harsh back then, but it's totally singing now. Still a lot of fruit, but also leather and forest floor. Such a good balance between young and old, I would say it can age for longer due to a lot of tannins, but this is a great time to drink it.
