February 1, 2024 - Color looks great. Golden straw, slight green edge. This wine can’t be 34 yrs old. Very fresh. Lovely stone fruits and lemon curd. Butterscotch on the finish. Good acidity to keep it lively. Not the most complex wine but a delight.

-reticent aromatics with some hints of orchard fruits
-med acidity, med- weight, very faint orchard fruit, some stony minerality, clean, no appreciable oxidative elements
-remarkably (impossibly?) young in color and oxidation though the fruit has pretty much disappeared, no significant tertiary development either, all in all not very interesting, this is more intriguing for what it doesn't have than for what it does -
