December 27, 2022 - Sherry is typically served in small glasses, consumed in moderation with some ham and almonds before the serious beverages, but this version is so appetizingly fresh and complex that it is very hard to resist grabbing the bottle and chugging it down. If you are looking for a dry, lively, fragrant, nutty sherry, this must be the apotheosis.

July 18, 2021 - Delicious sherry. Nutty with sour and bitter after notes. It needs some food to shine and can be paired with a really wide variety from olives and nuts to veggies and proteins that don’t have a ton of heat.

May 29, 2020 - Quite a nutty nose, rock pool salinity, green veg and chamomile. Quite full on the palate with lots of concentration, with liqourice!, salinity,

June 17, 2019 - Much better than my previous bottle. Lovely nose showing classic nutty, chamomile, saline, and brown butter tones, all carry onto the palate, which is balanced and expressive and very long. Excellent wine.

April 29, 2019 - Darker in color than previous bottlings at this age. If this were the only version I'd had, I'd be happy - the wine is delicious and shows the typical saline lemony chamomile notes of a good Manzanilla, and it is lithe in body and generally very good. But it lacks a certain freshness and verve. Because I've had almost all the earlier versions from this solera, I can say that I do not think it is at the same level of quality. And it feels like it will not improve, if this bottle is representative. And it should be - i bought it on release and stored it properly.
