March 5, 2020 - Light cherry color, smoky smooth mature notes of spice. Delicious

May 30, 2017 - Now fully developed with undergrowth rather than fruit aromas. Just lacking a bit of structure, and less interesting that I remember from last August.

December 17, 2016 - Very perfumed with lots of spice and some camphorous notes. Bright and lush fruit, very polished and smart wine that shows Burgundian style with California fruit. Lacking in minerality, the acidity and tannins are rather soft leaving a long plush finish.

August 19, 2016 - Very pale. An exotic nose of spice. Tight, dry palate. Very refined.

September 20, 2015 - High-quality cork. Did not aerate. Startlingly, very light colored on initial pour (like certain Baroli). Once the pour was complete, the color deepened to an appetizing clear, transparent red. Enticing aromas. Flavors and texture what I prefer in Pinot Noir. Delicate with a backbone. I always wish this producer the greatest success. Over the years, the styles produced have nearly always pleased, and the pricing structure makes all of these wines very affordable. This bottle was not exception.
