April 27, 2024 - Abundant cool dark fruit, salmiac candy, stone. Any hard edges that may have been there once are now polished off. Very clean for a Clape. Super good!

March 30, 2024 - Super elegant Cornas. Freshly ground black and white pepper. Dark berries. Really like this vintage. Here it has a seriousness to it, while at the same time relatively light and very elegant. Highly recommended (while waiting for the “first” wine) and in a very nice place now.

October 18, 2023 - I expected this cute to be more forward than the grand vin (I've been drinking the 2006 grand vin and it gets better every year but is still young and not as complex as I trust it will become). It certainly is more fruit forward, ready to drink, speaks loudly of NRhone Syrah, and is very very good. I'm sure it could age more, but was less of a thrill ride after being open for a couple of hours, so if I had more I'd drink them over the near term.

90 pts
