June 22, 2023 - Felton Road Dinner (The Wine Society Stevenage): First of the rieslings tasted this evening.
Unmistakable petrol aromas. I have never had such a pronounced petrol whiff.
Laser like palate and acidity. Very focused but the Bannockburn was the winner for me in this flight. -

January 14, 2015 - Thought it may be too young but was going try over several days.
Colour- pale light straw, Nose- citrus (grapefruit?), stonie mineral, if stoic, Palate: floral, tannin, a bit of petrol, then mid-range is floral bouquet(apple flower?), and finish is muscat, mid-after taste. The body is light/medium. The wine has polished texture.
Gassed with Algon so may improve Day 2?
