March 21, 2024 - Bottled in 1992. Quite light on the palate and nose, especially for a boal. Delicate, with plenty of orange peel notes and much less rancio and richness than I would expect. Actually, kind of low in acid for Madeira as well, but that makes it pretty approachable and drinkable now.

February 3, 2016 - Madeira Pilgrimage; 2/1/2016-2/4/2016 (Madeira): Smells like an old furniture oiling rag, complete with that lemony, varnish scent but also lots of floral perfume, nougat and honey. Rich texture and sweetness but lovely acid. Smooth, complex, laced with flavors or orange rind, dried wax, lemon oil. So good.
