August 16, 2020 - even if my review is not as incredible as what I wrote in August last year - the wine is 2pts better - was 93 now 95 and with a real wow. Awesome concentration and integration causing me some hallucination.

August 21, 2019 - A darker more brooding effort than I remembered. The enchanted path is full of witches and arguably a few warlocks. There's dark spells at play. Mind control and seduction amongst them.

Well integrated now but also smoky like a 007 aftershave.

December 26, 2017 - Full throttle classic Mollydooker style Shiraz blend. Drinking well. Palate coating and a long balanced finish.

  • srh Does not like this wine:

    May 27, 2017 - Winebar [2 Shared Reds, 3 Chards, & 6 Misc Reds] for 5/26/17 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): 69% Shiraz & 31% C.S.; 16.5% ABV, 2.2g/l R.S., & 3.64 pH

N: JAMMY with smoky notes; More to give?

P: Med, poss MF, body; ALMOST swtish frt (I would have SWORN approaching threshold R.S., though the winery's stats belie that) with some heat, mid palate acidity ATTEMPTING to balance; Long, very slightly tangy/bitter finish. I don't even know WHAT to predict for this as I'm categorically NOT "feelin' it" -- particularly @ this vendor's $67.95, which even then is almost 25% LESS than the only other U.S. vendor currently listed on wine-searcher! 93 pts WS

October 1, 2016 - Beautiful bottle for my girl's birthday party (served to the adults of course!). The super high alc is classic Molly. The palate offers rich Christmas cake with a climax of slightly incongruent burnt talc.
