March 30, 2024 - Enjoyed in upstate hot tub with Jenny, Ivana and Juan
Interesting and tasty, probably wouldn’t buy more. I got this with the Antica Terra “Yes” club so didn’t quite know what to expect. This is quite a bit less carbonated than a champagne although more than a pet Nat. It also lacks the acidity of a champagne. The overall impression is quite cider-y, with the dominant flavor of ripe yellow apple. -

September 2, 2023 - Savory, no fruit. Buttery nose. Dry and earthy palate. Refreshing, but very linear.

The wine is bright, with golden color
The wine is dry in the nose, fresh, linear, hay notes, citrus, grapefruit, some nutty notes
Palate is light but with strong structure, the fruit is riper than the nose, citrus, yellow apple, grapefruit, there is a nice cider freshness here too, med body, med finish, carbonation is a bit too much though

May 9, 2022 - Dinner at Kolabo: 100% Gringet sparkling. Slightly unpleasant milky nose to begin with but that dissipated with time. Quite ripe but sharp in terms of acid on the back end at the same time, this was the best pairing for sushi unsurprisingly out of the wines tonight.
