November 11, 2023 - Flight 1 with Canonica. I came in expecting more from this wine but against more showy barolos, this was in the backseat most of the time. More tamed than the Canonica. Floral, but drier and autumnal. But here you pick out the oak, and it does stand out. Doesn’t lose any of that cherry liquor flavour despite the obvious elegance, loads of sweet red fruits. Tannins are there but less the power. Ethereal and restrained. On any other day I’d probably liked this more..

October 15, 2023 - Tannins a bit prominent initially, but softened out with some air. Classic Barolo notes of cherry, florals. Very pure and silky, medium body. Excellent now, though I have another bottle which I'll hold for a bit as this has all of the elements to continue to age.

September 24, 2023 - Same bottle as Melvin's. Since the last time we had this, I think this has gotten a bit better in terms of resolving its backbone and tannic structure. For me, it is lacking a bit of weight on the mid-palate and finish.
