April 9, 2013 - Almost orange in color, with a deep hue. Apricots, peaches, honeydew and cantaloupe dominate the intense and powerful bouquet. Thick almost syrupy texture. Dried apricot on attack, melons as you approach the finish and an ultra sweet finish reminiscent of an orangecicle. Overall very delicious desert wine, a little on the sweet side for me but a great wine nonetheless.

February 19, 2011 - Strong marmalade right off the bat followed by a bit of honey and peach. Not a ton of complexity to ths wine, but went really well with the chocolate mousse cake dessert. This bottle met my expectations and then some, although I wish I had served a bit cooler.

November 30, 2008 - Wine was clearly on the downhill side of life. Didn't feel it was as crisp as the first bottle. Good apricot and fruit, with some acidity, but not crisp. OK, but not as good as first bottle.

May 18, 2008 - Vibrant fruit dominated by apricot, honey and candied oranges, balanced with a nice acidity. Smooth and viscous without being syrupy, this wine is very easy to drink.

May 18, 2008 - LOTS of apricot....sweet, yet cut with nice citrus acidity. Creamy wild honey, peach pit, oily floral muscat, little sourness on the finish. Not as good as the 1998...not as rich, but still quite good....IF you're into apricots! Quite a unique dessert wine.
