January 4, 2016 - Big bramble fruit nose. The palate is full of nice sweet black fruits, chocolate and a little spice. A little grip and a touch of chalkiness to the texture. Maybe the alcohol feels a bit out of kilter in places but I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt. Quite clean and bright on the finish. Excellent value at £15.

October 6, 2015 - colour - red fading at rim
Plums and spice - fruit! touch of leather
Full and ripe, sweet but sort of savoury tasting too
Good soft tannin, some tobacco at finish
    Nicely harmonious, alcohol fully integrated
Very good and amazing value £20 a bottle
