November 17, 2016 - Had this last night so going from memory but gee, I just love NEbbiolo. This really seemed better they I remember. Beautiful bouquet with dried plum, black currant and licorice. Palate added a bit of a leathery texture and just really nice. Well balanced and a terrific finish.

April 17, 2016 - Over delivered for the price point. For a Nebbiolo was really well integrated with only 5 years of age. My guess is that it was never a tannic monster. Beautiful fruit with some of the classic nose of tobacco and cocoa in there. Nice acid backbone and finish was medium to long. I was really quite impressed with this and wish I had more.

March 23, 2016 - Color: Garnet, clear
Nose: Cocoa, pencil shavings, dried cranberry; medium intensity
Palate: Black tea, spices, some pepper; medium body, medium acidity, light tannins.
Finish: medium
Quite different from what I'm used to in a Nebbiolo but highly enjoyable! -

January 14, 2016 - Pretty well balanced, medium finish. Fruit forward but not cloyingly so. Surprising complexity for the price. Very good value, esp. for Nebbiolo. Drank with "BA's best baked ziti" first night..very good there... then drank the remainder the next night with chicken and dumplings ... surprisingly good with that too.
