  December 30, 2020 - Nose is somewhat muted at the present with still present oak and pure cassis; hints of mulling spices. Luscious on the palate with nice acidity to mitigate the grippy tannin profile. This is a dark expression of Merlot with plum, blackberry, cassis with blueberry skins accented by cocoa and cinnamon from the oak. Delicious now and looks to have a good 5-7 years easy if well stored.

  December 25, 2018 - The fruit is this wine was a little muted, but the wine was very good overall. Great full body mouthfeel, softened tannins, great color. Very enjoyable
