October 16, 2019 - Solidly made Sicilian table wine. Nose is fruit-forward and effusive. In the mouth, there are ripe black and red fruits, tobacco, iron, and (somewhat remarkably) strongish tannins. Medium finish. While this is rather one-dimensional it has lasted much longer than anyone would have predicted and is punching above its weight.
