June 20, 2008 - Color starting to fade some, but still has a deep red to it. On the nose, strong, dominant green pepper. The same on the palate--green pepper. Medium finish.

June 30, 2001 - Lovely wine. Now at its peak, but lacks the complexity of the great wine.

October 21, 2000 - Not so many notes. Is mature, but can last for a few more years. Just a fairly full bodied and juicy pleasant glass of wine.

March 31, 1999 - Fairly full bodied, creamy. A bit young, but now really very enjoyable.

December 15, 1998 - Still a youthful impression, but now probably at its best. Light bodied. Everything is there, but in a “light” version. For a bad vintage this is a pleasurable wine and the price was pleasant as well.
