June 20, 2017 - A solid enjoyable Gewurztraminer. It has the characteristic floral aroma of this varietal but is not super intense. It seems to have some residual sugar and a slight effervescence. The acidity seems matched to the sugars. It is a good wine for a warm afternoon or possibly with fruit.

July 26, 2015 - Sunday Alsace Flight (SF Wine Trading Company): Medium yellow. Classic varietal lychee/citrus aromas. Medium weight, a bit oily. Off dry fruit followed by drier, soil filled finish with some lingering bitterness. Clipped and the balance isn't perfect.

June 15, 2015 - Floral, perfume, and minerality on nose. Yes, I can smell minerality. The nose is inviting. Hay colored with distinct legs dripping down side of glass.

Palette - nice acidity that helps to cut the sweetness however you definitely taste residual sugar. Clean and fresh. In terms of fruit, I taste sweet ripe pears, the kind that drip when you eat them. Like those Harry and David "Gold Coast" ones that you eat with a spoon? Some white pepper on finish. Getting sweet kiwi. Nicely balanced alcohol content. I only really pick it up on the finish. A bit sweet to me as an aperitif, and will see how it pairs with rotisserie pork loin later tonight. Starting to get ripe banana on nose.

As the previous reviewer said, I AM getting sea foam. It wasn't a descriptor I've seen before, but as I continue to taste, this is an excellent discription. You taste salt amidst the sweet, that continues to make the wine more interesting and a likely strong companion to food. First sip was a bit too sweet for my palette but enjoying it more as the other flavors start to emerge. Would buy again!

June 6, 2015 - Wow, so floral and minerally, lovely white, spectacular with an array of Asian dishes --a study in pairing. Lychee, rose water, minerals and sea foam. Wow. A wee bit of residual sugar but that's probably best with these dishes. Yum.
