The Ricola notes are better integrated and the overall wine is quite nice. I might be reaching, but I am thinking that where this Xynisteri comes from is making this wine more Ayios Andronicos than varietal Xynisteri. Time reveals a more subtle and somewhat chimeric wine.   (Gassy from bottling) Not much nose. Slightly bitter notes with some grass and herbals. Soft but long finish with good mountain herbal notes (the good side of Ricola) and a little bite.
  
  This is one of the most intriguing whites in Cyprus.
