March 13, 2023 - A deep yellowy gold. Served costly chilled in a small glass, a nice nuttiness with a deft sweetness. Refreshing. At Taylor's in Lisbon which no doubt helped.

Pronounced taste of green apples, candied lemon, candied orange, lemon peel, hazelnut and cheese. Long and medium-dry finish. Medium acidity. Full body. A very good White Port that goes well with drink mixing. Drink now. Goes well as an aperitif with green olives or drink mixing.

February 2, 2019 - Not nearly as dry as expected. Served from the fridge but allowed to warm in the glass. Deep colour, rich flavours including almonds, marzipan, pineapple, and a soft, oaky background. We rather liked it - it is a good apertif in moderation but it also went well with selected foods. Often recommended as a long drink with tonic and mint but that was not to our taste. 88+
