August 12, 2018 - Well past its best. Sulphurous nose, rather harsh bitterness on the palate which overwhelms any residual honey. A shame I didn’t drink it at its peak.

Interestingly, after letting the wine air out for a half hour, my comments above are being negated -- because the flavors started to show, and the wine got thicker and buttery. Fascinating change for the better.
