March 25, 2018 - Die Mischung aus Cabernet-Sauvignin und Syrah ist einfach beeindruckend! Kräftig und dicht und ewig lang. Kan noch reifen, aber nicht zu lange.

December 20, 2017 - Fifth wine tasted at Rust en Vrede with Coenie Snyman and the third vintage tasted of the Estate bottling. This bottling is made up of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Shiraz and 8% Merlot. Aged for 18 months in 85% French and 15% American oak, prior to further aging for 12 months in bottle.
Deep ruby red core. A bit smoky on the nose with cherries, cigar box and a bit spiced. Solid acidity on the palate with medium plus (7/10) and a full body. Layered with black berries, spices, raspberries and oak influences. Long finish. Drink till 2027.1 person found this helpful Comment
