February 25, 2024 - Bern's steakhouse. Enjoyed along with a 1978 Montevina Cabernet Sauvignon Amador County and a 1975 Souvrain Cabernet Sauvignon. Four of five guests rated this as the second wine of the night, one rated it as the top wine. Decanted and served from a cool cellar. Cork in excellent condition. Did not evolve much with air.
Medium finish, clearly identifable as a Zinfandel on the nose.
