March 23, 2018 - Numa versão uruguaia do método italiano, parte das uvas é desidratada na própria videira e adicionada ao vinho já pronto, que sofre nova fermentação. O resultado é um caldo escuro, bem concentrado e opaco. No olfato traz compota, eucalipto, cravo, baunilha, frutas secas. Acidez ativa, taninos finos, levemente adocicados. Madeira bem posta (18m de carvalho francês de 2º uso), álcool integrado (15%), corpo de médio para encorpado e final muito persistente. Um vinho bastante expressivo, com chão pela frente.

June 6, 2016 - Very deep ruby color with violet tones, heavy ripe red fruits, raisins, some dark chocolate and subtle earthy and eucalyptus aromas. 15% also shows on the nose, reminding of a Porto. Aromas are confirmed in the mouth, with dense but round tannins, heavy body, medium to low acidity, great with food. To drink slowly.
