July 19, 2022 - Aromatic and fine, a 10-year-old PN at its peak. From a friend's cellar, well kept. Soft tannin, smokey, balanced.

December 30, 2019 - Fabulous RR Pinot. I had this several years ago and it was tannic and acidic. But now it has mellowed and is fantastic. Fresh cranberries and strawberries flood the palate with violets, spices and wildflowers. There are still considerable tannins but they have mellowed and are smooth. This wine is just now entering its prime drinking window. I am envious of those who still have bottles.

September 30, 2018 - Very solid Pinot, but please possibly a bit expensive. Nice notes, seemingly well constructed but didn’t gain much even after aging.

April 15, 2015 - This was the second bottle I opened of this wine. The first was clearly flawed. This has an un characteristically musty nose for an Arista and a flat body but is drinkable. I hope this was just a slightly flawed bottle but it leaves me thinking that I will avoid the Toboni vineyard in the future.
