November 18, 2018 - Delicious. Brown/dark amber in the glass, aromatic nose of nuts and dark brown sugar, palate is balanced with nice acid and sweetness, flavors of caramel, hazelnut, cream, bruised apple, sweet ripe raisins, long lingering finish. Yummy.

February 2, 2016 - Madeira Pilgrimage; 2/1/2016-2/4/2016 (Madeira): A bit darker in its aromas of caramel and nuts than the 1996. Creamier, rounded, a bit fatter, but still vibrant. Apricots, sweet raisins, caramel, mixed nuts. Long and velvety. Made from Tinta Negra.
