  March 13, 2024 - Delicious, satisfying Syrah. This wine has it all: excellent smoky blackberry and plum, violets, lavendar, spices, smoked brisket, black pepper and whiff of cold Weber grill. All pulled together with silky, lush tannins. It's a complete package, nothing outlandish, totally compelling. A wonderful bottle that is probably close to its peak but with no intention of declining for a few years.

  October 20, 2023 - Cracking the whip; 10/16/2023-10/23/2023 (Eagan, MN): N: Dried sand, dark red fruits with a core of blue fruits, and something like dried jerky.

  October 20, 2023 - Wine Palooza (Eagan, MN): My wine and not the best showing at this event. Lighter in style with red currants, spice, tar and earth. Medium finish. Lacks the power of some of the Syrah's I been drinking from Washington.

  June 16, 2022 - Big. Plum. Dark fruit. Acid, but no astringency tasting Grear right now. Great complexity. Really smooth tannins Chocolate long finish
