August 27, 2019 - Black cherry, licorice and vanilla on the nose, with black cherry and leather on the palate, and lavender in the finish. Still a good wine.

June 14, 2015 - Dark ruby in color. On the nose - chalk, black licorice, red plum, cola, black cherry, blackberry and vanilla. On the palate - high acidity and full-bodied with flavors of raspberry, red plum, cassis, flint, tobacco, cola, cherry and leather. Long finish. Restrained and perfectly ripe. If you prefer a balanced California grown, Bordeaux-style red blend, this is a great choice.
