March 30, 2024 - Outstanding. Beatiful layers of aromas from tart red fruit to sweet spices and vanilla, mushroom, earth. Nice structure inthe mouth with fresh acidity supporting mid-palate weight, moderate alcohol, and ripe tannins. Juicy and quite persistent, mineral notes also emerge to complement fruit (sweet cherry, raspberry) and earthy developments. In some ways muscular, with complexity. I just wish it had a fuller fruit profile. Drink now, very enjoyable.

Black and red cherry, Christmas and baking spice, some meatiness and bright. Medium body with good acidity and length; concentrates red fruit and spice. Alive and drinking well. Elegant. -

December 23, 2021 - Perfectly balanced Charmes-Chambertin. I confessed that I love cooler climate vintages because we don't have to cellar it forever and get a lot of subtleties. Very enjoyable.
