  April 17, 2023 - Decanted about 30 min before first approaching. Nose was of very dark fruit with a little must & dust. When first drinking it, it came across as just another zin...very thick and jammy; little expression. And this one is now a decade old. Likely well beyond its window.
  
  But after about 90 minutes, this juice began to shine, with great expression and a veeery long finish. I thought WOW this shows almost like a superior....Pinot Noir!
  
  And then it hit me. Well crafted by people who know what they're doing.

  September 13, 2022 - Drinking perfectly. Smooth, great combination of fruit and spice. Lots of complexity across the tongue. Just lovely.

  October 30, 2021 - A perfect older zin. Soft and well integrated.
  
  Floral and peppery. Stewed strawberries. Oak and alcohol have faded and are well balanced with the acidity.

  September 2, 2021 - Dark crimson in color. 14.8% ABV. Stunning nose of red fruits, peach and pepper. Medium body with exquisite acidity. Impeccable balance. Exceptionally refined with bright fruits in spades. Raspberry compote, strawberry, anise and pepper on the palate. The finish is long and seamless. Gorgeous Zinfandel from an iconic vineyard. Best over the next 1-2 years.
