November 6, 2020 - Showing well now. Drink in next 2-3 years.

October 25, 2019 - Tasted this last 2 years ago when we visited the winery. For this note, I opened the bottle yesterday and we drank down about 2/3rds of it, and with the low ABV (12.4%), reminiscent of Champagne in that we could do a few glasses and not feel impacted from the alcohol. Shows a golden color, and maybe I can see a bit of bruised apple quality in the wine. I don't perceive the wine as advanced but the color gives me some pause. The aromatic reflects a light toasted aroma. Aside from the color, the flavors remind me a lot of what I found two years ago, anchored in flint, some tangy pineapple, green apple, citrus pith. Finishes a little savory, with perhaps a note of dried herb.

September 29, 2019 - Nice with some tropical notes, but not especially memorable.

July 23, 2017 - Tasted as part of a Brosseau chard vertical we did with Wells @ the winery. 12.4% ABV. First time I have drank this wine, which seems kind of odd given all the Copain in my cellar. Pippin apple, lemon zest and oil, light pineapple, finishing with a flinty energy that is cool. No rush on drinking this vintage as it's built well and of all the vintages of Brosseau chard, it's the only one in the 12% range, FWIW.

June 18, 2017 - Paired perfectly with Organic grilled Irish salmon. Golden color. Aromas of fresh-cut straw, Honeysuckle and lemon zest. Fruit flavors still strong Tart tree fruits. Medium body and medium plus too long finish. Not sure how I came upon a 2016 drink by date, but this wine has at least another year. Adjusting date to 2018.
