January 8, 2024 - deep color, 1 hr in decanter, tannins mellowed out as the meal continued, nice wine

March 8, 2022 - Return to Napa; 3/6/2022-3/13/2022 (Wineries and various restaurants): Always love these old Colgins. This was was I think one of the first ones I've had where I'd say it was in the right window and maybe even starting to get to the later part of the window. This was still a bit brawny, darker fruit. Balanced but there's power here and I don't think it would be mistaken for anything other than a Napa wine.

July 8, 2021 - Fully mature, soft textured, elegantly styled, with ripe, sweet, deep red fruits from start to finish. However, with time, the herbal character of the vineyard has become much more predominant in the nose and finish.

January 1, 2019 - Ripe red fruits, such a balance between balance and finesse. Great long ripe red fruit finish. In a great place..have yet to have a bad wine from this estate.

    December 4, 2018 - More herbal than I expected - quite interesting
