May 1, 2023 - 2 hour decant. Visual evolution. Undergrowth and aniseed dominant on the nose. Some cured meat, balsamic and tar too. Pretty well translated to palette. No fruit to speak of. Nice, and good value.

April 30, 2023 - Stood up for three days. Two hour decant. A medium ruby core fading to a pale garnet outer edge. Damp hedgerow, liquorice, a touch of black cherry, and what can only be described as a stale, muddy puddle of water. With time aromas of tar started to develope. Exclusively savoury on the palate with aged balsamic and pine needles.
