December 25, 2021 - Family Xmas eve dinner - no formal notes.
But this was amazing. Decanted and drank over 1.5-2 hours.
So young and improving with air. 13.1% alcohol and it shows. Beautifully medium bodied, leaning into redcurrants, very slight leafy greeness. Oak is just about integrated. There is a hint of pleasant tartness on the palate, weightless texturally, fine-grained tannins and really nice medium+ acidity. Finish is really long.
If I had another bottle I'd hold it as long as possible. Felt like this has a decade+. -

September 21, 2021 - Full bodied. One of the better 2011s. Blackberry and cassis with smoke and leather. Great finish that shows hints of graphite. This is really drinking at its peak. Integrated tannins. Drink now.
