April 21, 2023 - Much more like a Spanish Garnacha than a Cotes du Rhone Grenache. Full bodied, decent varietal character, dark cherry, tree bark, raspberry and pepper. Fully evolved at ten years, but probably was more exciting in its youth.

June 2, 2020 - This wine has been up and down. Last bottle great, this one okay. Not sure what is going on. I bought from two different wine stores? Maybe? anyway, not up to the usual Villa Creek Standands.

April 18, 2020 - Opened up beautifully after a one hour decant. Had great raspberry flavors backed up by cream and vanilla. Not sure I would age this more, as it is drinking so well now.

March 30, 2020 - Sooooo much better than my last bottle. Full bodies, raspberry all over it. What I usually expect from Villa Creek.
