July 31, 2022 - A rich red Pinot showing ruby color with clarity. Supple nose with
Cherry, flint, vanilla. Lots of rich fruit - raspberry currant and pomegranate, and well rounded mineral earthy notes and a clean crisp finish. My guess is it’s good for another 1-2 years. Nice!

October 12, 2020 - Incredibly sound RR pinot

September 23, 2020 - Very intense deep ruby. A bit reserved on the nose but there were some apparent aromas of dark fruit, blackberry juice, and a hint of vanilla. Medium to medium plus body (bold for a pinot) with luscious sweet ripe red and blue fruit on the front along with some cola. Good acidity to tame the fruit, but a bit of heat on the finish -- too much so for my wife who is very sensitive to these things. Paired with grilled kurobuta pork chops and mashed sweet potatoes; was fine but did not seem to bring anything extra to the meal.

January 12, 2020 - It has been over a year and a half since I last tried a bottle and I did note some subtle changes. The nose was all fruit. The palate was dark cherry, red currants, and nutmeg. The finish was moderate. It could have been that we drank it alongside a 2011 Saxum James Berry and that stole the show for the evening.

November 2, 2019 - "This is a pinot that i want to buy a lot of!!! Drank using my new coravin which means I will get to enjoy it over the next few weeks!!! On the nose I get cherry, clove, cinnamon, a little leather & tar and some berry fruits. On the palate there is good acidity more darker fruits at first but a lovely berry finish. It's a cracker!!"
