September 16, 2018 - Lovely given its twentieth anniversary. Still dark brooding fruit, cherry chocolate taste. Nice fruit. Nice mouthfeel. Very pleasant surprise.

November 8, 2011 - Modest nose of cola, rose petal, wet gravel, and tobacco. Very smooth and long finish, with flavors of black cherry, leather, and tar. Probably a bit past its prime. Very strong showing nonetheless.

December 20, 2009 - getting late in the game for this wine. it was an el nino year for wines and has a bit of a vege taste...shatter they call it. good, opened up nicely. smooth. bit heavy on the nose, not reflective of the wine.
