November 3, 2021 - Excellent bottle. Starting to come around, but still years to go for full potential. Beautiful deep, intense nose of cassis & other berries, laced with a bit of graphite/pencil lead. The palate is big... instantly recognizable as Napa fruit. Very full, but with a lush quality that is sexy and alluring. Layers & layers of flavor. Again, sweet cassis, with hints of cedar/cigar box, tobacco, & perhaps a hint of coffee. Extremely long. I would probably rate this higher, but I want to leave it room to improve with a few more years in the bottle. Glad I have a few more.
