June 17, 2021 - Aromas of honey, mineral, baked peach and hint of petrol. Flavors of slight apple, tart grape and mineral. Nice acidity and ends with a 15-20 second finish.

June 12, 2020 - Previous bottle was 11 years ago. Dark golden colour with a nose that is lovely sweet honey and petrol and wet stone. Full taste that is rich but still fresh and dry. At its peak now. Impressive.

May 29, 2018 - Nose: Complex aromas of candied peach and lychee with hints of rubber band. Palate: Big richness with still solid acids and lots of lemony qualities. Under the lemons are traces of sweet fig, dried apricots and peaches. Finish is medium long. Last bottle of this was drunk over 10 years ago (notes on 1/25/08) and it drinks quite different now, but it still is a very interesting and cerebral wine. Glad this last bottle held up so well over the many years sideways.

April 5, 2016 - Deep gold/amber(-ish) and quite rich candied fruit with peach and lychee fruit. More subtle on the palate than one would think given the rich color and nose. A long finish of 30+ secs. Not hot like some Z-H's can be but nice acidity to balance the mid palate out. Should stay at this level for a few more years.

February 28, 2015 - 375 ml. Drink up!! This was clearly much better a couple of years ago. A bit oxidised with notes of windfall apples. Still some fruit and some minerality, but a bit tired...
