August 25, 2023 - Superb wine, drinking perfectly now, but has years ahead of it

April 21, 2023 - Dark and inky. Just a hint of rust appearing at the rim but still looks very fresh. Lovely dark berry, some forest floor, a bit of leather, some nice spice. Lovely, lovely mouthfeel. Plenty of everything and very well balanced. Acidic zing, lots of fruit, no overt sweetness- certainly not jammy at all. Tannins are well balanced and leave you wanting another slurp. Great length. Plenty of time ahead I reckon.

May 9, 2020 - Ditto my last bottle, just drinking beautifully now. I was lucky enough to buy these at auction for less than $30.00 and at 12 years old represent exceptional value for money. I’ve concluded that, at least for my taste, these Clarendon Hills wines from ‘07 and ‘08 and great buying if you can find some.

March 6, 2020 - Perfect cork as is often the case with Clarendon Hills. Delicious in my humble opinion, still drinking very well, but I’ll drink the rest of mine over the next 12 months I think.

December 18, 2017 - Dense black fruit and velvety tannins with some woodsy earthy undertones. Perfect for a filet mignon with mushroom gravy!
