July 12, 2021 - fine-spicy bouquet of berries, vanilla, smokey and light wood. Some fruit on the palate, spicy, smokey, pleasant velvety tannins but still strong, blend of Merlot and Sangiovese. (89++)

A little tight until food came out. With the food (NY/NJ style Italian American "red sauce") it improved quite a bit. Red fruits, dried tomato leaf, tobacco. Some nice oak influence. But it really does need food. -
