  June 26, 2022 - Musique & Vin Pre-Concert Dégustation (Château du Clos de Vougeot): Walk around tasting. Bright red cherry and berry on nose and palate. This is a lithe and precise weight with good weight and better length. Still a little more firmness middle-to-finish for now, so I think this is still a year or three away from its peak, but will then drink well for another couple of decades.

  February 26, 2020 - At Corella Restaurant, Woolloongabba. After the Clos des Lambrays this seems a little obvious and heavy yet with time it unfurls a little with a deep colour and a nose of black cherries and raspberry with a glaze fruit character. There's a touch of liquorice and dark chocolate on the nose and reflected in the palate which is medium weight yet quite dense without a lot of follow through. The tannins are fine and this is a 13 which may evolve further.

  January 14, 2017 - 2013 Grand Cru Horizontal tasting (Prince Wine Store, Bank Street, Melbourne): Beautifully perfumed floral notes with generous berry fruit, sweet spice and slightly stalky. Touches of wet clay and anise. More of the same on the palate but also slightly spirituous warmth. Hmm.

  June 26, 2016 - Musique & Vin Wine Tasting (Château du Clos de Vougeot): Tasting, brief note. Also showing all red fruit with good textures and balance. Longer and leaner vs the 2014, but more tannic.

I still would not pay over $500 for this, but it is indisputably of Grand Cru quality.
