Community Tasting Notes 7

March 7, 2021 - Ditto previous bottle a year ago. Somewhat soft and fat, hints of citrus and nut oil. Still well made but getting flat.

July 18, 2020 - I think the decant really helped this bottle. A bit tight on the nose still, but the palate really opens up and there's some slightly tropical notes on the finish leading you right to Meursault. Pretty good depth for what is not a (these days) terribly expensive Meursault.

April 4, 2020 - Pleasant but slightly simple, and on the leaner side. I didn’t get oak on this unlike some others. On the second day there’s not a great deal of interesting development. The acid spine is solid, so there’s no rush, but I’m not sure there’s all that much upside.

February 27, 2020 - Somewhat muted nose, showing hints of mandarin orange and lemon verbena. Palate is medium bodied with limestone, white graphlefruit and some hints of tropical fruit. Touch of oak as well. Well made. Bought in auction for $40.

December 10, 2018 - Brought to a friends, shared over dinner, no formal notes. Mid-weight with nice lemon curd, kiss of oak, and white flower profile. Also present was a fair amount of citrus and saline. Paired great with our vegetable gnocchi and didn't clash with cab. Would seek out.
