Community Tasting Notes 16

  • JonBarnes1 Likes this wine:

August 9, 2022 - Pale straw color. Nose of jasmine and honey. All lemon on the palate. High acidity, this will wake you up! The body has rounded out with age, and in another sign of age the alcohol sticks out a bit. But on balance this is holding up well.

    October 12, 2021 - Nice, light, enjoyable.

  • Stephen Rash Likes this wine:

June 8, 2021 - Golden yellow in color and clear in the glass. Aromas of ripe Fuji apples, jasmine, and honey on the nose; tastes of pear, lime zest, white flowers, and minerality on the palate; medium(+) body and medium(+) acidity; long finish.

Reminded me of a Riesling with hints of Petrol upon opening. This has started to age well showing less citrus but more honey than the 2018 I tasted a month ago

April 24, 2021 - Signs of premox but still ok with a creamy sauce

    Maybe three years past it

  • Tyler Cassidy Does not like this wine: 70 points

December 14, 2020 - Tastes kinda like sherry not Chenin I would like. Sad, I think this is premox'd. And I have 4 more bottles!
