Community Tasting Notes 1

August 3, 2005 - At Odeon, NYC. Garnet ruby. Nose took awhile to release but with coaxing gave off scents of tea, blueberry, and cinnamon. After about an hour the palate took off, showing flavors of black cherries with a bit of cola. Moderately short finish. Tannins definitely present but under control. Good balance of fruit and structure. Could well improve over the next 2-3 years.
