May 11, 2024 - Perfectly cellared since release with no travelling. Crimson with slight orange hue in thin layers. Great and extraordinary nose and palate with espresso notes to the red and black fruits, smoky with tar, great syrah scents and flavors. But I have to admit that its evolution is miuch faster than I could imagine 7 years ago. This bottle was definitely in the winter of its life, loosing some of its intensity and nuances. 5/14/19/8. -2025 if perfectly cellared since release. Better drink it up as soon as you can!

December 17, 2022 - Holiday Champagne Gala (Park Ridge Country Club): Small glass. I was told this is a Parker 100 point wine, which is certainly understandable given its ultra ripe and hedonistic style. Lots to enjoy here, even if lacking much subtle nuance... or anything subtle or restrained. This is easy to enjoy, even if not my preferred style of wine.

August 29, 2022 - My last bottle and dang it is tasty. Not a style I prefer but this is hard to resist. With age it has mellowed without losing any of the ripe, juicy fruit that made this wine’s reputation. Very dark. Very juicy. Warm. Some earthy elements. Not too thick. Big finish with a touch of heat. This is slutty. (94)

March 13, 2021 - Small sip! Large, clunky, thick, vanilla... not for me.

March 27, 2020 - solid wine but nowhere near 100pts... a bit of funk, and lacks focus.. love the acidity.
