    August 25, 2023 - What a surprise
    Well balanced
Nose is beautiful tells what to expect.
More berries and rhubarb compote with slight tannin
That carries in the mouth. Long finish with mouth watering acid.
Very encouraging that Oregon pinot at 10 years

December 12, 2021 - Sunday Brisket (Matt's, Portland OR): Nose: The nose is perfumed and balanced with strawberries, pure red fruits, cherries, red berries, crushed rocks, roses, perfumes, incense, and spice tones.

Taste: The feel is Medium bodied with crisp, Medium+ acidity and silky, medium m tannins. The feel is plush and refined with flowing tones of strawberries, cherries, red berries, crushed rocks, roses, incense, and spice tones.

Overall: This is really gorgeous right now. It was very expressive immediately and showed a purity to the red fruits.

October 24, 2018 - Pop and pour and tasted with food (wonton noodle soup, with shitaki mushrooms and chicken, in case you were wondering), and then on its own.
    Light ruby color.
Nose offers fresh red berries and some sandalwood.
Light in textture with strawberry and sour cherry notes; good acidity.
There is a lightness to this wine with purity of fruit. No green/unripe elements.
This will not "wow" you; however, as a light and refreshing pinot, it matches well with food. Enjoyable.
