January 5, 2020 - This bottle was medium gold with perfect fill and cork. An excellent aged, almost beerenauslese Riesling at 29 years. Palate of sweet/sour grapefruit. Extremely subtle and elegant.

May 21, 2015 - Half of bottle left in fridge 3 weeks. Deep glistening gold in glass. Lively and refreshing. Just perfectly balanced sweet and sour palate with a long finish. Needs 3-5 years to peak. Probably drink well at least another 5.

May 3, 2015 - Bright medium gold in glass. Medium bodied, very slightly viscuous. Sweet but balanced with still lingering acidity and minerals. Less lively than it must have been at peak, but also less sweet than this 25 year old three star auslese must have been ten years ago.

April 19, 2015 - Bright yellow chartreuse in glass. Lemon drop and honeydew on nose. Bright candied lemon peel on palate with mature notes just starting on the long finish. Medium bodied, sweet but balanced with refreshing acidity. Drink now and over next 5 years.
