Community Tasting Notes 4

July 20, 2017 - This has continued to evolve really nicely. Fruit is now slaked on the nose and replaced with a more wine-centered spice. Linear and compact with dark cherries. Really subtle spirits notes round off the middle. Still has a rough trade edge on the finish which is appealing. Interesting notes of mint and herbs too. Complex and very rewarding.

February 24, 2016 - Fruit leather and moist plants on the nose. Tight and intense. Well-framed. Dark berries, somewhat voluptuous. Blood elements. Finishes with some nice down beats, cherries and a little rough trade textures. Has really found itself in its skin.

March 3, 2015 - Fougere on the nose. Really nice as the Shiraz is playing a dominant beatbox with the structured Lefakada taking lead. Still more about the nose and the two are not really resolved and this is quite young. I like what I see.

February 28, 2015 - Muted nose. Mostly structure on the top and solid. The Shiraz brings out good fruit on the middle and finish, but stretching against the wine to get there. Def needs time. Will see if air can change it before I give a real evaluation.
